To be considered for the position, you must meet the following qualification requirements: Education: There is no substitution of education for specialized experience for this position. Experience: You must have at least one year of specialized experience equivalent in difficulty and complexity to the next lower grade level. To be creditable, this experience must have equipped the applicant with the qualifications to perform successfully the duties of the position, and must typically be in or related to the position to be filled. Some examples of this qualifying experience are: Experience in finance, budget, strategic planning, computers and general management, and detailed knowledge of Trust Fund policies and procedures. Experience providing management direction of the Trust Fund program including implementation of unique policies, regulations and standards as they relate to Trust Fund. Experience developing and implementing overall strategic plans for management functions of the Commissary, Inmate Telephone System, Limited Inmate Computer System, Deposit Fund oversight, and Warehouse and Laundry operations. If applicable, credit will be given for paid and unpaid experience. To receive proper credit, you must show the actual time (such as number of hours worked per week) spent in the activities. **Your eligibility for consideration will be based on your responses to the questions in the application.**
Responsible for developing, coordinating, and maintaining an integrated system of financial services for the entire Bureau of Prisons (BOP) Trust Fund Program including: 1) Budgeting; 2) accounting to include deposit fund and operations; 3) inventory management and control; 4) management financial reporting; 5) financial systems; 6) warehouse operations; 7) clothing issue/laundry operations. Provides management direction of the Trust Fund program including implementation of unique policies, regulations and standards of the BOP, as they relate to Trust Fund. Exercise effective control over the financial resources of the Trust Fund Program in accordance with requirements set forth in 31 USC 665.
