Job Description:

You will serve as a FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT ANALYST in the Financial Management Branch, SEA 10 Corporate Operations & Total Force Directorate of NAVAL SEA SYSTEMS COMMAND.
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NH-02 pay band (or GS-11 equivalent) in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector performing financial management analysis (e.g., budget planning and formulation, monitoring obligations and expenditures, or executing funding in DON systems of record) for an organization. Executes NAVSEA Mission Support budget via Navy ERP transactions, purchase card program, Government-Invoicing, or other related transaction types.
Performs budget planning and related execution tasks, analyzes various program requirements, and makes recommendations on the allocation and execution of funds
Assist in development, update, and submission of the President's Budget.
Initiates and processes funding execution documents using appropriate financial management systems.
Assists in the development of the Program Objective Memorandum (POM).
Recommends updates to budgetary/financial policies and implements new policies.
Provide customer services by executing routine and ad hoc communication with customers on the status of executing requirements. Provide funding recommendations and other strategies as requirements change or priorities shift during the fiscal year.
