Job Description:

You will serve as an Administrative/Technical Specialist in the Electromagnetic Effects Division; Electromagnetic & Sensor Systems Department of NAVSURFWARCENDLD. This position is part of the Warfare Centers Personnel Demonstration Project. NT-05 is equivalent to GS-13/14. This position is salary capped at GS-13 Step 10 (currently $158,322). Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NT-04 (GS-11/12 equivalent) pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector conducting financial management activities (e.g., financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, process improvement, or reporting) in a Working Capital Fund environment. You will facilitate budget development and analysis, and provide financial recommendations to leadership.
You will accept or reject incoming funding documents.
You will manage planned costs in comparison to actual costs and conduct analysis and make recommendations within FMR regulations.
You will initiate funding to government and contractor agencies for services and materials.
You will work with B50 Leadership and key financial personnel to develop and enhance B50 financial processes and communication.
You will develop and present summary reports, conduct trend analysis, and develop budget projections.
You will advise and assist division leadership, program management, Branch Financial Analysts, and other personnel within the Division on financial matters.
You will train and provide direction to financial personnel within B50 and B Department.
You will utilize your knowledge of Working Capital Fund, Navy Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), IBPES, and NEPS to create and maintain planning structures.
