You will serve as a Electronic Industrial Controls Mechanic in the Facility and Plant Maintenance Division of FLTREADCEN EAST.

The Screen-out Element for this position is: ABILITY TO DO THE WORK OF THE POSITION WITHOUT MORE THAN NORMAL SUPERVISION: Install, maintain, troubleshoot and repair state-of-the art electrical/electronic systems 2) Perform troubleshooting and repair techniques to newly installed or modified electrical/electronic systems often incorporating unusual requirements; 3) Advise engineering and facilities personnel on system upgrades and modifications and complete paperwork; 4) Assemble and arrange a variety of stimulus and test equipment to operate system subassemblies and components in a "stand alone" process for troubleshooting and repair; 5) Apply experience with aviation depot-level equipment to troubleshoot electronic equipment to full functionality; 6) Interpret and apply electrical/electronic flow charts, schematics, specifications, truth tables, to include mechanical/hydraulic blueprint and drawings, to perform troubleshooting and repair Applicants must meet the requirements of the Office of Personnel Management (OPM) Job Qualification Handbook for Trades and Labor Occupations. You will perform computerized diagnostic troubleshooting to analyze faults in electronic and computer-controlled apparatuses.
You will test, repair, replace and modify industrial electronic circuits to maintain, enhance or correct component operation.
You will posses knowledge of operation, capability and application of electronic industrial control equipment and associated components.
You will have knowledge of hand tools related to production machinery and knowledge of trade terminology.
