Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-13 grade level or NH-03 pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Providing expert advice on procurement policies and strategies; analyzing, reviewing, and exercising unlimited contractual authority for contract actions and long-term procurements for the acquisition of major systems; evaluating cost and pricing strategies and data; and leading a team to achieve mission-critical objectives efficiently. You will lead a team, ensuring effective communication of project goals, deadlines, and responsibilities.
You will develop, present, and defend procurement policies and contract actions to senior officials.
You will plan, direct, and coordinate contractual and procurement policy actions involved in supporting sophisticated and technologically advanced systems acquisition programs.
You will coach and mentor team members, fostering problem-solving techniques and improving team dynamics.
You will monitor and report on the status and progress of work, ensuring your team meets project milestones and quality standards, adjusting priorities as needed.
You will analyze, evaluate, and review proposed and on-going procurements and cost pricing data.
You will assess your team's performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing strategies for growth.
