About the Position: Serves as a Supervisory ISR Management Specialist for the Joint Activities located at Fort Bragg, North Carolina.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes developing operations plans to support contingencies and training missions; managing requirements for special projects involving ISR and coordination with other military and non-military activities/agencies; and coordinating the development of ISR operating procedures and guidance in accordance with directives. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-13). Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. For this job, you must meet the qualification requirement using experience alone--no substitution of education for experience is permitted. You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas: Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-13).
Performs primary duties as the Director of Airborne Intel, surveillance, and reconnaissance (ISR).
Serves as the Command’s primary point of contact and senior advisor for airborne ISR matters and related activities.
Provides technical advice and recommendations on ISR matters involving platforms, payloads and support.
Assign work to subordinates based on priorities, difficulty of assignments and the capabilities of employees.
Directs and controls the execution of ISR plans.
Conducts site visits to various training locations, CONUS/OCONUS, to obtain available training dates, facilities, and logistical support.
Conducts staff visits to higher command and attached elements as a representative of the Command.
Serves as chief validator for the unit in the development of ISR specific documentation.
Represents the Command in senior level meetings and conferences that deal with ISR and related areas.
Oversees POM and budget development and manages POM and budget plan for the ISR input to the Command's Operating Budget and POM submission
Negotiates and updates inter-service support agreements with other commands and Services.
