Opportunity:
As a Banquet Cook you are responsible for preparing food products that represent the standards for all events and banquets with quality, consistency, and surroundings in mind.
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES
Ensure that the ordering checklists are adhered to by all Cook I’s and II’s and up to dateAssure that all staff are ordering finished pastry, fabricated meats, dry goods and produce on established ordering sheets according to parsRotate all food stocks (i.e. first in, first out)Conduct monthly inventory takingBe able to work stations in more than one restaurantAssist in the training of Cook I’s and II’s Advanced meat, fish and poultry fabrication, advanced stocks, soups and sauce preparationDevelop daily specials that contribute to the development of our food program and new menusHave an advance understanding of the development of checklists systems of managing production.Be able to develop them for problem solving when necessary.
This is a full-time position, working weekdays and weekends. Shifts will vary between 5:00 am and 11:00 pm.
