We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Trader Facing Production Support professional to join our Credit Teams. This role will primarily focus on providing support for the trading desk, as well as managing the backend of platforms and trade capture systems. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the smooth functioning of trading operations, investigating, and resolving issues related to platform performance, trade capture, and associated systems.
Key Responsibilities:
Trader Facing Support: Act as the first line of support for trading desks, particularly within the Credit domain, ensuring systems are up and running and efficiently addressing any technical issues that arise.
Trade Capture and Platforms Support: Troubleshoot, investigate, and resolve issues related to trade capture, platform functionality, and integration between front-office and back-office systems.
Monitoring & Alerts: Utilize tools like Splunk and ITRS to monitor system performance, identify issues proactively, and escalate to relevant teams when necessary.
Incident & Problem Management: Manage and resolve high-priority incidents, including root cause analysis, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to prevent recurrence.
SQL Database Queries: Write, optimize, and troubleshoot SQL queries to extract, analyze, and validate trade data in databases and support the trading desks' data needs.
Collaboration: Work closely with the development teams, infrastructure, and trading desks to ensure system uptime and resolve production issues in a timely manner.
Documentation & Reporting: Maintain detailed records of incidents, resolutions, and support processes. Provide regular reports on system health and performance metrics.
On-call Support: Participate in an on-call rotation for out-of-hours support, ensuring minimal disruption to trading activities.
This role requires being on site with client 3 days per week in the office
