This position is located at Aberdeen Proving Ground, Maryland. Incentives and Bonuses Incentives will not be paid.

A qualified candidate must possess the following: Demonstrated experience in planning, organizing, coordinating, supervising, administering and executing aquatic programs. This experience may have been gained managing indoor or outdoor recreational or competitive aquatic programs and facilities. Possession of the following certificates is a requirement: - Current lifeguard certification - Current First Aid and CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer or equivalent - Current Aquatic Facilities Operator (AFO) or Pool Operator certification - Current Certification in Water Safety Instructor Experience MUST be clearly reflected on your Resume at the time of application to be considered. Certification MUST be uploaded at time of application to be considered. Highly Preferred qualification: Must have 1 year aquatics management experience. Applicants meeting the Highly Preferred criteria will be referred first to the Selecting Official. All other applicants may be referred for consideration at managements request.
Serves as the aquatics manager responsible for managing and supervising the aquatic programs for an AFRC activity.
Assist the program manager with a wide variety of management and administrative tasks associated with operating a fully functional activity that is safe and enjoyable for all participants.
Participates in and or leads the planning process that results in providing a wide range of fairly typical, conventional and well-established basic aquatic activities.
Ensures that required safeguards and internal controls are present to prevent injuries and accidents, or the loss of assets and property. Formulates, executes, and reviews budgetary data and financial reports.
Ensures that the necessary personnel, equipment, supplies and services are available to accomplish assigned functions.
