Job Description:

You will serve as a FINANCIAL PROGRAM ANALYST in the INFRASTRUCTURE DIVISION of NAVAL SURFACE WARFARE CENTER. This position is part of the Warfare Centers Personnel Demonstration Project. The NT-04 pay band encompasses positions equivalent to GS-11 and GS-12.
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NT-03 (GS-09/10) pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Analyzing and researching financial and procurement program operations to create financial spreadsheets, budget ledgers, and expense plans, to include procurement procedures such as procurement requests, market research, and procurement systems (e.g., Procurement Request Tool (PRT), Wide Area Work Flow (WAWF) (iRAPT), and G-invoicing systems) to improve efficiency and effectiveness in the strategic financial business operations. You will serve as a Financial Analyst for the Infrastructure Division, performing professional financial, managerial, and operational analysis while providing program coordination and administration.
You will gather information, analyze data, identify requirements and trends, and present findings to assist with the annual budget.
You will maintain complex financial spreadsheets, budget ledgers, and expense plans by submitting purchase requests and rectifying financial discrepancies.
You will develop reports covering the status of funds, expenses, and obligations, comparing them to budget requirements to indentify program and account problems.
You will be a primary point of contact for inquiries from internal and external customers.
You will apply analytical and evaluative methods to improve organizational cost effectiveness.
