This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Certain Personnel in the DoD Workforce to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service. About the Position: This position is located with the Directorate of Public Works, Fort Campbell, KY.

You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes: 1) Assists in the management of unaccompanied housing to include furnishings; 2) Executes sustainment plans by analyzing housing data to prepare related reports, briefs, and charts; 3) Conducts property inspections to assess adequacy and habitability. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS- 11).
Provides technical Unaccompanied Housing (UH) and Furnishings Management housing expertise and assistance to Garrison Commander/Manager and other installation staff in representing Department of the Army (DA), IMCOM, and garrison objectives.
Responsible for broad management functions with the planning, management, administration and implementation of the technical and administrative operations of the Unaccompanied Housing (UH), Furnishings Management housing programs.
Develops garrison policies for all aspects of housing programs.
Reviews, evaluates, and interprets, Department of Defense (DoD), DA, and IMCOM policies and procedures, developing and recommending guidance required to provide sufficient criteria for accomplishment of the mission goals/assignments.
