THIS IS A NATIONAL GUARD TITLE 32 INDEFINITE EXCEPTED SERVICE POSITION. This National Guard position is for a SECURITY SPECIALIST (PROTECTION), Position Description Number D1164P01 and is part of the , NH National Guard, G3/DCSOPS. This vacancy is to gather applications that may or may not result in a referral or selection.
Compatible military grade and assignment required prior to the effective date of placement. This is a Title 32 INDEFINITE excepted service position that requires membership in a compatible military assignment in the employing state's National Guard. Military Grades: 03 to 04 Compatible Military Assignments: MOS IMMATERIAL GENERAL EXPERIENCE: Must have the education and validated understanding of the basic principles and concepts of the occupational series and grade. must have the experiences, education, or training that demonstrates the ability to follow directions, to read, understand, and retain a variety of instructions, regulations, and procedures. SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: Must have 12 months of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-11). Experience, education or training in collecting and analyzing data effectively, efficiently, and accurately. Able to apply procedures and directives by reading and interpreting technical material. Ability to communicate clearly and effectively orally and in writing, using presentation and report formats. Demonstrated ability to follow directions, to read, understand, and retain a variety of instructions, regulations, and procedures. Learned ability to assess the surrounding environment to recognize immediate risk levels.
The primary purpose of this position is to serve as the Joint Force Headquarters (State) (JFHQ-ST) force protection security specialist for anti-terrorism and related physical and operations security policy and issues, handling of law enforcement sensitive information, managing assigned program areas, directing studies and reviewing, revising and implementing force protection policy and projects.
