You will serve as a Technician in the Combat Systems Test and Eval Department C00 of NAVAL SURFACE WARFARE CENTER. Port Hueneme, CA: $124,085 - $190,627; Virginia Beach, VA: $108,019 - $165,945
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level/pay band (GS-13) in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector directing the test and evaluation lifecycle for major combat systems to manage technical projects, lead multi-disciplinary teams, and analyze system performance against strategic objectives for purpose of validating warfighting capabilities and ensuring the operational effectiveness of naval defense platforms. You will manage the full range of test planning, test execution, analysis and reporting activities.
You will develop and oversee funding requirements for all supporting organizations.
You will provide program coordination with all stakeholders to establish schedules, priorities, cost sharing, etc.
You will collaborate with leaders and subject matter experts across organizations in order to develop solutions and accomplish program goals.
You will lead project teams, establishing goals, planning and assigning work in coordination with organizational leads, and tracking progress to meet deadlines.
You will identify and analyze problems; perform technical studies and evaluations; weigh relevance and accuracy of information; generate and evaluate alternative solutions; make timely recommendations, based on potential implications of findings.
