Job Description:

You will serve as a Supervisory Technician in the Surface Weapons and Cooperative Engagement Capability (CEC) Division, Sensors Weapons and Launchers Department of NAVAL SURFACE WARFARE CENTER PORT HUENEME DIVISION.
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NT-04 (GS-11/12 equivalent) pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: providing leadership and guidance in the performance of technical and engineering services related to conducting system design studies and analyses of requirements, development, test and evaluation, installation, investigation, research, team management, and utilizing financial and administrative support tools and processes in support of combat and weapon systems and equipment programs. You will provide supervisory technical services involved with the execution of combat systems and weapon systems work within complex project-oriented in-service technical support services in U.S. and allied ships and shore facilities.
You will provide technical/consultative services and training during Installation and Check-out, Integration tests, Combat Systems Ship's Qualification Trails (CSSQT), certifications, or other test and evaluation efforts.
You will conduct research and comprehensive design studies into development acquisition and/or in-service technical support for assigned equipment.
You will evaluate technical performance up to and including the system level of equipment associated with equipment specifically related to hardware reliability, operation, performance and/or maintainability problems.
You will review problems reported in messages, Casualty Reports (CASREPs), Feedback Reports, or other program deliverables and develop solutions.
You will prepare analytical evaluations and/or reviews on proposed or existing technical documentation for assigned systems.
