Specialized Experience: You must have one year of specialized experience at the GS-11 or equivalent level. Specialized experience must be documented in your resume. Specialized experience is defined as: managing the full lifecycle of Human Resources (HR) programs; analyzing program data to make data-driven recommendations to leadership; and serving as an advisor on HR principles and program requirements. Volunteer Experience: Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional, philanthropic, religious, spiritual, community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills, and can provide valuable training and experience that translates to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
Serves as the designated point of contact for awards program, managing program planning, budgeting, and vendor coordination, while guiding the submission and coordination of award packages for leadership.
Collects, compiles, and analyzes information gathered from various sources to develop meaningful program data and reports for presentation to and use by senior leaders, supervisors, and colleagues.
Coordinator of special agency programs (Awards, EAP, Retirement Training), ensuring all administrative and directional oversight is executed with a focus on meeting the needs and providing direct support to agency employees and leadership.
Formulating and presenting recommendations to enhance program operations, update policies, and improve overall productivity based on data-driven evaluation.
Applies comprehensive knowledge of HR principles and federal law to advise on and successfully manage complex projects.
