Job Description:

You will serve as a computer scientist in the SOFTWARE ENGINEERING BRANCH of the DIGITAL TRANSFORMATION DIVISION in the UNDERSEA SYSTEM & SUSTAINMENT ENGINEERING DEPARTMENT of NAVUNSEAWARCENDIV KEYPORT WA.
In addition to the Basic Requirements for this position, your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: as a professional scientist performing research, design, development, and testing on information systems, writing test plans, and developing software. You will lead the research, design, development, testing, and sustainment of complex software systems that directly support the mission.
You will use advanced software engineering methodologies and using agile principles to ensure high quality, scalable, and secure software solutions to evolving technical and operational requirements.
You will plan, schedule, and coordinate all software actions on assigned software projects.
You will provide advice to management, project leads, and contract personnel concerning software systems.
