Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Supervising administrative and technical functions across workforce operations; developing and implementing policy; managing planning and budget execution; and applying advanced knowledge of Network Operations (NetOps), Network Security, and Information Assurance (IA) to support organizational objectives and briefing senior leadership. Additional qualification information can be found from the following Office of Personnel Management website: Information Technology (IT) Management Series 2210 (Alternative A) Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., professional, philanthropic, religious, spiritual, community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment.
You will supervise the daily performance of IT personnel to include Marines, Civil Service personnel, and contractors.
You will develop a variety of correspondence (e.g. command orders, directives, standard operating procedures, reports briefing, point papers, positions paper, and talking papers, etc.)
You will maintain lines of communication with other installation's G6/S6 staffs throughout the Marine Corps.
You will plan and perform all functions for the delivery of network services throughout the region by developing project Plans of Action and Milestone, timelines, budgetary requirement, system/network resources usage policies and procedures.
You will provide direction, guidance, and develop policy for local telecommunication network and system operating units, centers, or network control facilities.
