This is a public notice flyer to notify interested applicants of anticipated vacancies. Applications will not be accepted through this flyer. Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-6 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Performing law enforcement (LE), physical security (PS), antiterrorism (AT), and force protection (FP) functions; 2) Conducting preliminary and/or ongoing investigations of incidents regarding unusual situations and/or violations of the law; 3) Conducting checkpoints/roadblocks at various locations to reduce criminal activity; 4) Inspecting packages/personal belongings when admitting personnel into controlled areas; and 5) Responding to emergency calls for service while adhering to state and federal laws. **NOTE: This experience must be fully and clearly supported in your resume. Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment.
You will respond to and investigates complaints while interpreting and enforcing state and federal laws, the Uniform Code of Military Justice (UCMJ), DoD and Navy regulations, and installation directives, rules and regulations.
You will detect and investigate unusual situations/conditions; takes required action to resolve various incidents/situations and requests additional support.
You will perform traffic law enforcement using specialized equipment such as radar, breathalyzer, and must be qualified/certified in these specialized areas and on the necessary equipment.
You will use computer equipment and specialized web-based law enforcement programs to fuse intelligence and establish, update, query or print individual or vehicle registration and other law enforcement sensitive information.
You will perform force protection, anti-terrorism and sentry duties at installations with operational assets, unrestricted access points, large populations onboard the installation in order to deter, detect, delay and deny unauthorized access.
