This is a public notice flyer to notify interested applicants of anticipated vacancies. Applications will not be accepted through this flyer. Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: conducting administrative investigations, to include evidence collection and analysis, interviewing and information gathering, and applying laws and regulations when writing investigative reports. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., professional, philanthropic, religious, spiritual, community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment.
You will analyze witness statements, regulations, policies, and any other evidentiary sources.
You will determine whether the preponderance of the evidence substantiates the allegation.
You will receive incoming complaints or allegations regarding a wide range of possible conduct violations.
You will conduct a preliminary analysis to clearly define the specific allegations, and to identify a tentative course of action.
You will research laws, regulations, instructions, and local policies in order to determine applicability to the type of allegation, e.g., sexual harassment laws have different parameters than claims of fraud, waste, and abuse.
You will plan an in-depth investigation with the intent to ascertain objective facts pertinent to the cause and outcome of the incident.
