You qualify for the GS-07 grade level if you possess one of the following: Experience: One (1) year of specialized experience at the GS-06 grade level or equivalent performing duties such as: Processing transactions timely and accurately. Ensuring compliance with policies and procedures. Receiving, verifying, auditing and/or processing financial transactions. As an Accounting Technician, you will perform the following duties: - Managing processes for accuracy, compliance with regulations. - Preparing documents for input into the accounting system. - Reviewing documents for accuracy, compliance with regulations, and proper approval prior to entering information into the financial system. - Utilizing multiple databases to ensure transmitted transactions and processes are accomplished timely and accurately
