This vacancy is for a GS-0344-7, MANAGEMENT & PROGRAM ASSISTANT located in the Department of Homeland Security, U.S. Coast Guard, D8 RESOURCE PLANNING BRANCH -DMPL in NEW ORLEANS, Louisiana.
To qualify at the GS-07 grade level, your resume must demonstrate at least one (1) full year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-06 grade level in the federal sector. Specialized experience is experience that has equipped you with the ability, skill, and knowledge to successfully perform the duties of this position and is typically in or related to this line of work. Examples of specialized experience include performing the following types of tasks on a regular basis. You will serve as a MANAGEMENT & PROGRAM ASSISTANT and be responsible for the collection, compiling, consolidating, and evaluation of information. Being a Coast Guard civilian makes you a valuable member of the Coast Guard team. Typical work assignments include: Provides administrative oversight as the District Timekeeper, and on matters relating to performance management Prepare charts, graphs and narrative information and develop computerized data files, spread sheets and databases to enter, correct and retrieve information, compile reports, or monitor projects or program status Review program requests, performance and management indicator reports, and similar management and program analysis documents for proper format, distribution, and inclusion of required information Reasonable Accommodation (RA) Requests: If you believe you have a disability (i.e., physical or mental), covered by the Rehabilitation Act of 1973 as amended that would interfere with completing the USA Hire Competency Based Assessments, you will be granted the opportunity to request a RA in your online application.
