This position is located in the Department of Housing and Urban Development, Government National Mortgage Association Ginnie Mae, Office of the President, Communications and Congressional Relations Division. You must meet the following requirements within 30 days of the closing date of this announcement. Specialized Experience: For the GS-14 grade level, you must have one year (52 full weeks) of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the GS-13 grade level in the Federal service. Specialized Experience for this position includes: - Developing solutions to resolve program issues or changing requirements; AND - Planning projects and working on events related to the housing finance industry; AND - Collaborating with external organizations or agencies to plan jointly-sponsored events. The experience may have been gained in either the public, private sector or volunteer service. One year of experience refers to full-time work; part-time work is considered on a prorated basis. To ensure full credit for your work experience, please indicate dates of employment by month/day/year, and indicate number of hours worked per week on your resume. Time-in-Grade: In addition to the above requirements, you must meet the following time-in-grade requirement, if applicable: For the GS-14 you must have been at the GS-13 level for 52 weeks. Time After Competitive Appointment: Candidates who are current Federal employees serving on a non-temporary competitive appointment must have served at least three months in that appointment.

As a Senior Project Manager (Events), you will: - Interface with all levels of internal and external resources including but not limited to contractor resources, executive management, and IT and business stakeholders. This includes working closely with Ginnie Mae contractors and the other offices in Ginnie Mae. - Organize and facilitate project planning, daily stand-up meetings, reviews, event debriefs, marketing, and other project related meetings. - Develop procurement requirements and plans such as specifications, statements of work, and independent government contract estimates in accordance with procurement regulations. - Collaborate with management and assigned Government Technical Representative Government Technical Monitor to ensure contractual obligations are executed seamlessly and issues managed appropriately. - Manage and communicate contractors' performance against agreed upon deliverables and evaluates invoices based on milestones such as deliverables and accomplishments as per agreements.
