Proficiency in driving light delivery vehicles. 3. Proficiency in handling heavy weights up to 80 lbs. and loads. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. Loads, unloads, and drives gasoline-powered delivery vehicles capable of loads weighing up to, and including, two (2) tons manufacturer’s rated capacity.
Delivers door-to-door service and/or pick up a variety of printed materials, proofs and special items.
Sorts printed materials, proof, and other special items for both Congressional and Federal agency runs.
Completes Driver’s Pre-Inspection Vehicle Checklist and the Vehicle Manifest on a daily basis, in accordance with office regulations.
Communicates with a diverse group of customers.
