Job Description:

You will serve as a Security Specialist of MARCORSYSCOM.
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or NH-02 pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Supervise AND/OR lead security policy development, advises senior managers on classification matters, analyzes security programs, resolves complex issues, AND/OR coordinates security efforts with internal and external stakeholders. You will advise senior managers on security classification matters, providing recommendations on policy and procedural issues related to protecting sensitive information.
You will develop, evaluate, and implement security policies and procedures to address complex security challenges for Marine Corps acquisition programs.
You will conduct assessments of security classification guides to ensure compliance with policies and procedures.
You will collaborate with subject matter experts and stakeholders from various disciplines to ensure effective security and technology protection.
You will maintain strong relationships with Program Office teams to guide the development of clear and accurate security classification guidance.
You will assist in training staff on handling and marking Controlled Unclassified Information to ensure compliance with security protocols.
You will serve as a liaison between internal and external partners to foster cooperation and resolve security concerns effectively.
