Specialized Experience: GS-12: You must have one year of specialized experience at the GS-11 or equivalent level. Specialized experience must be documented in your resume. Specialized experience is defined as: Analyzing operational workflows (such as case management or administrative processes) to identify inefficiencies and recommend documented improvements to enhance procedural consistency; OR Collecting and analyzing workload data to support the creation of recurring reports, dashboards, or summaries used to monitor organizational performance; OR Assisting in the planning and execution of projects by tracking milestones, identifying risks, and preparing status updates for stakeholders to ensure project objectives are met. GS-13: You must have one year of specialized experience at the GS-12 or equivalent level. Specialized experience must be documented in your resume. Specialized experience is defined as: Independently leading the analysis and redesign of complex business processes from conception through implementation to improve organizational efficiency and effectiveness; OR Developing and maintaining performance metrics and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to provide actionable insights on operational trends, risks, and outcomes to senior leadership; OR Managing all phases of projects aimed at enhancing legal or business operations, including technology implementations, process reengineering, or system integrations. Volunteer Experience: Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional, philanthropic, religious, spiritual, community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills, and can provide valuable training and experience that translates to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
Analyze, redesign, and lead initiatives to improve complex legal operational workflows, enhancing overall efficiency, consistency, and effectiveness from conception to implementation.
Develop and maintain performance metrics, KPIs, and dashboards by collecting and analyzing workload data to report on trends, identify risks, and provide actionable insights to leadership.
Plan, coordinate, and monitor a variety of projects aimed at enhancing legal operations, including process reengineering efforts, technology implementations, and system integrations.
Establish, refine, and maintain internal controls, compliance routines, and data definition standards to ensure the integrity and reliability of operational processes and reporting.
Lead tool adoption and operational enablement across the organization by developing resources, delivering user training, and providing support to ensure the consistent and effective use of new systems and workflows.
